Step 1 of 4 — Open Auto-Upload in NestEgg

Before connecting your wearable, navigate to the auto-upload screen in the NestEgg app.

  1. Open the NestEgg app.
  2. Tap your profile icon (top right of the home screen).
  3. Select Workout Submission.
  4. Select Auto-Upload.

Step 2 of 4 — Connect NestEgg to Apple Health

This grants NestEgg permission to read your workout and heart rate data from Apple Health.

  1. Tap Connect to Apple Health in the NestEgg app.
  2. When the Apple Health permission screen appears, tap Turn On All.
  3. Check that all toggles are green — Heart Rate, Resting Heart Rate, and Workouts.
  4. Tap Allow.

Step 3 of 4 — Connect Garmin Connect to Apple Health

Now link the Garmin Connect app so your workout data flows through to NestEgg.

  1. Open the Garmin Connect app on your iPhone.
  2. Tap More (bottom right).
  3. Select Settings.
  4. Tap Connected Apps.
  5. Choose Apple Health and tap Enable (or Connect).
  6. When the Apple Health permission screen appears, tap Turn On All, then Allow.

Once enabled, your Garmin workouts will start flowing into Apple Health — and from there into NestEgg.

Step 4 of 4 — Verify the Connection

Confirm both apps are sharing correctly.

  1. Open Apple Health on your iPhone.
  2. Go to Sharing → Apps.
  3. Select Garmin Connect — confirm sharing is turned ON.
  4. Return to Apps.
  5. Select NestEgg — confirm sharing is turned ON.
  6. Back in NestEgg, tap Looks good!

You’re all set. Workouts tracked by your Garmin will now flow automatically to NestEgg.

Troubleshooting

Garmin workouts aren’t showing in NestEgg.

  1. Open the Garmin Connect app and confirm you’re logged in.
  2. Record a short test workout (1–2 minutes) on your Garmin watch.
  3. In Garmin Connect, pull down on the My Day screen to force a sync.
  4. In Apple Health → Sharing → Apps → Garmin Connect, confirm Workouts and Heart Rate are enabled.
  5. In Apple Health → Sharing → Apps → NestEgg, confirm all toggles are green.
  6. In NestEgg → Workouts, pull down to refresh.
  7. Still not syncing? Restart your iPhone and reopen Garmin Connect. Apple Health can take a minute or two to pass data through.

Note: If you have another device (e.g. Oura) also connected to Apple Health, Garmin workouts may sometimes arrive without HR data. If this happens, connect only one device to Apple Health at a time. See Duplicate Workouts.
