WHOOP on iOS

4 steps · ~5 minutes

Step 1 of 4 — Open Auto-Upload in NestEgg

Before connecting your wearable, navigate to the auto-upload screen in the NestEgg app.

  1. Open the NestEgg app.
  2. Tap your profile icon (top right of the home screen).
  3. Select Workout Submission.
  4. Select Auto-Upload.
  5. Choose WHOOP from the supported devices list.

Step 2 of 4 — Connect NestEgg to Apple Health

This grants NestEgg permission to read your workout and heart rate data from Apple Health.

  1. Tap Connect to Apple Health in the NestEgg app.
  2. When the Apple Health permission screen appears, tap Turn On All.
  3. Check that all toggles are green — Heart Rate, Resting Heart Rate, and Workouts.
  4. Tap Allow.

Step 3 of 4 — Connect WHOOP to Apple Health

Now link the WHOOP app so your workout data flows through to NestEgg.

  1. Open the WHOOP app on your iPhone.
  2. Go to More → App Settings → Integrations.
  3. Select Apple Health.
  4. Tap Connect.
  5. Tap Turn On All, then Allow.

This lets WHOOP share your workout and heart-rate data safely with Apple Health.

Step 4 of 4 — Verify the Connection

Confirm both apps are sharing correctly.

  1. Open Apple Health on your iPhone.
  2. Go to Sharing → Apps.
  3. Select WHOOP — confirm sharing is turned ON.
  4. Return to Apps.
  5. Select NestEgg — confirm sharing is turned ON.
  6. Back in NestEgg, tap Looks good!

You’re all set. Workouts tracked by your WHOOP will now flow automatically to NestEgg. Your next workout will appear without any action from you.

Troubleshooting

WHOOP workouts aren’t showing in NestEgg.

  1. Open the WHOOP app and confirm you have at least one recent workout. If not, record a quick test workout (over 1 min).
  2. On the WHOOP home screen, pull down to force a sync.
  3. In Apple Health → Sharing → Apps → WHOOP, ensure Workouts and Heart Rate are ON.
  4. In Apple Health → Sharing → Apps → NestEgg, make sure all toggles are green.
  5. In NestEgg, open Workouts and pull down to refresh.
  6. Give it a minute — Apple Health sometimes takes a moment to pass data through.
  7. Still not syncing? Restart your iPhone. Once both apps have sharing enabled, workouts appear automatically.

Note on WHOOP workout names: WHOOP workouts may appear as “Other” in NestEgg rather than the specific activity type. This is a known behavior caused by how Apple Health handles WHOOP’s custom workout types. Your Exercise Points are calculated correctly regardless of the activity label.
