Posted a ProofShot but the +10% bonus didn't apply? Here's the most common reasons and how to avoid it next time.

My ProofShot Didn’t Give Me the Bonus


The Most Common Reason — The 60-Minute Window Closed

The ProofShot +10% boost requires posting within 60 minutes of uploading the workout to NestEgg — not 60 minutes after finishing your session.

If your workout auto-synced at 6pm and you posted your ProofShot at 7:15pm, the window was closed. The post still appears in the feed — but the boost doesn’t apply.

The tile changes from white to green when the boost applies. If your workout tile is still white after posting, the window either hasn’t processed yet (wait 1 minute and refresh) or it closed before you posted.


How to Check if the Boost Applied

  1. Go to Workouts → My Workouts
  2. Find the workout in question
  3. Check the tile color:
    • White = no ProofShot boost applied
    • Green = boost applied ✓

Also check the workout detail — the EP shown should include the +10% if the boost applied.


Other Reasons the Boost Didn’t Apply

You posted from the Feed instead of the workout tile

Posting a general photo to the Feed is not the same as a ProofShot linked to a specific workout. To get the boost, you must start the ProofShot from the Boost +10% button on the workout tile in Workouts → My Workouts.

The photo was a screenshot of workout metrics

Screenshots of your stats screen don’t qualify as a ProofShot. NestEgg already has that data. A ProofShot must be a real photo of you, your equipment, your location, or your workout context — anything that visually confirms you moved.

The workout was already submitted more than 60 minutes ago

Once the window closes, it can’t be reopened. There’s no retroactive boost — plan to post immediately after uploading.

A ProofShot was already submitted for this workout

You can only post one ProofShot per workout. If you already submitted one and it didn’t appear to work (e.g. the tile stayed white), check whether the window was still open at the time. A second ProofShot attempt after the window closes won’t replace the first.


For Strength Workouts — Additional Requirement

For strength training workouts (weightlifting, Pilates, climbing, etc.), the ProofShot doesn’t just earn the +10% — it also unlocks the Strength Exercise Adjustment (SEA), which is a separate and larger calculation.

How to Get It Right Every Time

  1. Finish your workout
  2. Take your ProofShot photo before opening NestEgg (have it ready in your camera roll)
  3. Open NestEgg — wait for the workout to sync (or upload it via photo-upload)
  4. As soon as the workout appears, tap the Boost +10% button on the workout tile
  5. Select your photo and post

Total time: about 30 seconds. The boost applies immediately.


Common Questions

Can the 60-minute window be extended? No — the window is fixed at 60 minutes and can’t be extended after it closes.

I posted within 60 minutes but the tile is still white. Pull to refresh in Workouts. The green confirmation can take up to a minute to update. If it’s still white after a few minutes and you’re confident you posted within the window, contact support.

My ProofShot is in the feed but the bonus didn’t apply. This happens when the photo was posted as a general Feed post rather than via the ProofShot flow. Next time, use the Boost +10% button on the workout tile.
