How to Start a Nest
8 steps · ~3 minutes
A Nest is your team — up to 5 Eggs moving together through the challenge. As the Egg who creates the Nest, you become the NestStarter (Nest Leader). You’ll invite your crew, approve join requests, and keep everyone moving.
1. Build Your Nest
Step 1 — Choose Your Path
When prompted to form a Nest, select Start a Nest and tap Continue to begin building.
Step 2 — The Nest Setup Form
Tap the photo area to upload a Nest image. Enter your Nest name and a motto to give your crew some identity.
Step 3 — Name & Personalize
Fill in your Nest name and motto. Toggle List my Nest as open if you want other Eggs to find and request to join your Nest from the discovery screen.
Tip: A public Nest fills up faster. Keep it private if you only want specific people.
Step 4 — Create Your Nest
Tap Create a Nest and wait a moment while your Nest is built.
You can remove the Nest before the challenge starts if you need to.
2. Invite Your Crew
Step 5 — Open Your Nest
Your Nest is created. To allow others to request to join, make sure List my Nest as open is toggled ON. Tap Update to save.
Step 6 — Your Nest Is Ready
Your Nest is built. Copy the invite link or tap Share the link to send it directly to your crew.
Step 7 — Share the Invite
Pick how to share — WhatsApp, Messages, Mail, or just tap Copy the link to paste it anywhere.
Step 8 — You’re All Set
Your Nest appears on the Home dashboard. Tap the Nest tag to view everyone in your Nest and all your Nest details.
Managing Join Requests
As NestStarter, you’ll receive notifications when Eggs request to join your Nest.
- Tap the Requests tab in your Nest view — a gold dot signals a pending request.
- Tap Accept to welcome the new Egg, or Reject to decline.
- Your Nest can hold up to 5 Eggs total (including you). Once full, no new requests can be accepted.
