How to Join a Nest

You need to be in a Nest to compete in the challenge. If someone has already started a Nest and shared an invite link, use that. If not, use the Nest discovery screen to find an open Nest and request to join.

1. Find & Request a Nest

Step 1 — Choose Your Path

When prompted to form a Nest, select Join a Nest to hop into a Nest that’s already in motion. Tap Continue to proceed.

Step 2 — Browse Open Nests

The Find your Nest screen shows all available Nests in your challenge. Each card shows the Nest name, image, and how many spots remain (e.g. 1/5). Tap a card to learn more, or tap Join to send a request.

Step 3 — Send Requests Freely

You can request to join as many Nests as you like. The first Nest Leader to accept you locks it in — all other pending requests are cancelled automatically.

No pressure to pick just one. Cast a wide net and see who accepts you first.

Step 4 — Request Sent

Once you tap Join, the card updates to show Request sent. Your request is now with the Nest Leader.

2. Getting Accepted

Step 5 — Awaiting Acceptance

Back on the Home dashboard, you’ll see your Nest name and a countdown to the challenge start. Your profile appears — now you wait for the Nest Leader to accept you.

Step 6 — Nest Leader View — Eggs Tab

The Nest Leader can see all current members under the Eggs tab. The NL badge marks the Nest Leader. Empty slots show where new Eggs can land.

Step 7 — Nest Leader View — Pending Request

The Nest Leader taps Requests to see incoming join requests. A gold dot on the tab signals a pending request.

Step 8 — Accept or Reject

The Nest Leader can tap Accept to welcome a new Egg, or Reject to decline.

3. You’re In!

Step 9 — New Egg Confirmed

After acceptance, the Eggs tab updates to show all current members. No Egg left behind.

Step 10 — You’re Part of the Nest!

A confirmation screen appears: You’re officially part of the Nest! Tap Got it! to continue.

Step 11 — Your Home Dashboard

Your Home dashboard now shows your Nest, your teammates, the Nest Score, and a countdown to the challenge start. Tap the Nest tag to view your Nest details.

Joining via Invite Link

If your NestStarter sent you a direct invite link:

1. Tap the link in WhatsApp, Messages, or Email.
2. The app opens directly to the Nest — tap Join.
3. The NestStarter still needs to approve your request.

Common Questions

I can’t find any open Nests. The Nest discovery list only shows Nests that are set to public. Ask your challenge organizer or colleagues if anyone has started one — they may need to toggle their Nest to public, or share an invite link directly with you.

My request isn’t getting accepted. Follow up with the Nest Leader directly — they may not have seen the notification. You can also request to join other Nests at the same time.

I joined a Nest but want to switch. You can leave a Nest before the challenge starts. Contact your challenge organizer if the challenge has already begun.

What if the Nest is full? A Nest holds up to 5 Eggs. If a Nest is full, look for one with available spots — the card shows remaining capacity (e.g. 1/5).
