How to Sign Up & Join a Challenge

1. Download the App

Step 1 — Scan the QR Code

Use your phone camera to scan the QR code on the poster, flyer, or email you received. It will open the NestEgg website automatically.

Step 2 — Challenge Landing Page

The NestEgg website opens showing your challenge code (e.g. 5221). Tap Download on the App Store (or Get it on Google Play for Android) to get the app.

Step 3 — Get the App

Find NestEgg Health in the App Store or Google Play. Tap Open if already installed, or Get / Install to download it. It’s free.

2. Create Your Account

Step 4 — Open the App

The NestEgg welcome screen appears with the egg characters. Tap Sign up to create your account.

Step 5 — Choose Sign-Up Method

You can sign up with Apple, Google, or Email. We recommend Sign up with Email using a personal email address.

Step 6 — Enter Your Email

Make sure Sign up is selected (not Log in). Tap the email field and type your personal email address.

Step 7 — Tap Continue

Once your email is entered, tap Continue. A verification link will be sent to your inbox.

Step 8 — Check Your Email

NestEgg sends a verification link. Tap Open email to go straight to your inbox.

Step 9 — Verify Your Account

Open the email from NestEgg Health and tap the Verify your account button.

Tip: Check your spam folder if you don’t see the email within a minute or two.

Step 10 — Create a Password

Choose a password with at least 8 characters, including 1 symbol and 1 number. Type it into the field.

Step 11 — Confirm Password

When the yellow tick appears confirming your password meets the requirements, tap Create password.

3. Set Up Your Profile

Step 12 — Profile Details

Enter your first name, last name, and organization. Your email is pre-filled. Tap Date of birth to continue.

Step 13 — Select Date of Birth

Scroll the picker to select your date of birth and tap Update. This is used to calculate your maximum heart rate for scoring — it affects how your Exercise Points are calculated.

Step 14 — Complete Your Profile

Add a profile photo if you like, review your details, and tap Create my account to finish.

4. Agreements & Notifications

Step 15 — Participant Agreement

Read the NestEgg Participant Agreement and Liability Waiver. Scroll down through the full document to continue.

Step 16 — Accept the Waiver

At the bottom, tick the checkbox to confirm you agree to the Participant Agreement and Liability Waiver, then tap I Accept.

Step 17 — Enable Notifications

Choose which notifications you’d like to receive — challenge stats, daily health nuggets, feature updates, and Nest activity. Tap Allow.

Step 18 — Allow Device Notifications

When the iOS or Android permission dialog appears, tap Allow to receive push notifications. This keeps you connected with your Nest.

5. Join the Challenge

Step 19 — Enter Invite Code

You’ll see the home screen with a prompt to join a challenge. Tap the Enter Invite code button to get started.

Step 20 — Type Your Code

Enter your 4-digit challenge code using the keypad. This is the code from the poster, email, or landing page (e.g. 5221).

Step 21 — Join the Challenge

Your challenge appears. Tap Join to enter the challenge.

Step 22 — You’re In!

Welcome to the challenge! Tap Open Challenge to start or join a Nest, and connect your wearable device.

Common Questions

I didn’t get the verification email. Check your spam or junk folder. If it’s not there after a few minutes, tap Resend on the verification screen.

I already have a NestEgg account. On the welcome screen, tap Log in instead of Sign up. Use your existing email and password, or sign in with Apple/Google.

I don’t have a challenge code. Contact your NestStarter (Nest Leader) or your challenge organizer — they’ll have the 4-digit code.

I signed up but don’t see the challenge. Make sure you’re using the same email address your challenge organizer used to set up your invitation.
