How the Leaderboard Works

Individual rankings, Nest rankings, weekly vs overall — here's what you're actually looking at and why a Beginner can outrank an Elite Egg.

How the Leaderboard Works

The leaderboard ranks every Egg and every Nest in the challenge. It resets weekly — but there’s also a running total for the full challenge.

Two Leaderboards

NestEvery Nest ranked by Nest Score (average of 5 Eggs’ Level Scores)

Both are visible from the Community tab.

Weekly vs Overall

Each leaderboard has two views:

  • Weekly — your score for the current scoring period (resets each Monday)
  • Overall — cumulative scores across the entire challenge

Most of the action happens in the weekly view. That’s the live race.

Individual Ranking — Why It’s Fair

Every Egg competes on Level Score — your Exercise Points as a percentage of your personal weekly target.

This is the key: targets differ by level. A Beginner’s target is 150 EP. An Elite Egg’s target is 3,300 EP. But both are scored as a percentage of their own target.

EggLevelWeekly TargetEP EarnedLevel ScoreRank
Couch Egg1150 EP180 EP120%1st
Weekend Warrior4300 EP330 EP110%2nd
Fitness Fan7600 EP600 EP100%3rd
Elite Athlete121,700 EP1,600 EP94%4th

The Beginner wins. That’s intentional. The leaderboard rewards effort relative to your level, not raw fitness. An Elite Egg who coasts will rank below a Beginner who gives everything.

Nest Ranking

Nest Score = average Level Score of all active Eggs in the Nest.

If your 5 Eggs score 120%, 100%, 90%, 80%, and 60% — your Nest Score is 90%.

During a Health Pause, that Egg is temporarily removed from the average. If 4 Eggs are active and score 110%, 100%, 90%, 80% — your Nest Score is 95%.

This is why consistency across all 5 Eggs beats one person at 200%. A single Egg going hard can’t carry the whole Nest. Getting every Egg to a solid 80% is almost always worth more than one Egg at 160%.

What Resets Each Week

  • Your Level Score resets to 0% at the start of each new scoring period
  • Your level itself only changes at the end of a week (promotion or demotion)
  • The weekly leaderboard starts fresh — last week’s winner starts at 0% again
  • The overall challenge leaderboard accumulates — it never resets

Common Questions

Why did my rank drop even though I worked out more than last week? Rankings are relative — if other Eggs worked harder this week than last, your rank can drop even when your absolute score went up. It’s a live competition.

I scored over 100% — why am I not at the top? Other Eggs may have scored even higher percentages. A Level 1 Egg scoring 200% (300 EP) outranks a Level 7 Egg scoring 150% (900 EP) on the individual leaderboard. It’s all percentages.

Our Nest is in last place. Can we catch up? Yes. The weekly leaderboard resets every week — every Nest starts equal on Monday. One strong week can move you significantly in the overall standings. Consistent effort across all 5 Eggs is the fastest route up.

Can I see other Eggs’ individual workouts? You can see workout cards in the Feed from Eggs in your Nest. Full workout detail is visible on their profile if they’ve set it to public.
